NEWSLETTER 2012

Another successful year is behind us and another new and exciting year ahead of us. We are looking forward to all the excitements and challenges awaiting!

The year 2011 was very fulfilled for us at inZagreb. We have found another beautiful apartment on a fantastic location in the very centre of the city, just around the corner from Zrinjevac promenade square. The apartment Piano that we named after the instrument played by the famous musician and singer who used to live in the apartment, has been completely renovated and refurnished and is combining modern style with shabby chic. Shabby chic is a vintage style that has become incredibly popular over the last two decades, especially through Rachel Ashwell, a famous  shabby chic artist. Well, here in Zagreb we also have a very talented remake designer Tea Jurkovic who left the original creative imprint in the beautiful living room of PIANO apartment which is lavishly furnished and decorated in shabby chic style. We love this romantic style and thought it would fit perfectly in our new apartment. It was a bingo to invite Tea to add this special touch to the atmosphere of the apartment. To learn more about Tea, visit her blog page: www.hobbychic.blogspot.com

Our guests who chose this exquisite, spacious apartment were thrilled by its unique atmosphere and lots of space and light. Hope you'll enjoy it too!

Great news is that we are planning to include another apartment located in the same house as Piano. Thus we will have two apartments in the same house and one apartment just around the corner (City). Also the apartment Gold is very close (just across the park) so it would be convenient even for a bigger group of friends/colleagues to stay close together while in Zagreb. More about this fantastic new apartment coming up soon!

Another great news is that we have upgraded our internet pages and can now boast with new and modern website that has a lot more pictures and descriptions of our apartments and services.

Our designer Kolja Koracak and webmaster Vjeran Rubesa have done a great job and we hope you'll enjoy surfing through our webpages even more.

We have also prepared a few new gifts for your stay – apart from a bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of nice Croatian red wine wrapped in a chic crimson necktie (necktie was invented in Croatia in 17th century), we now have colorfully decorated gingerbread hearts (fridge magnets) which are typical souvenirs of Northern Croatia. We have also prepared a special gift for the little ones - an authentic Croatian wooden whistle from the village of Laz, just North from Zagreb. These wooden toys as well as gingerbread hearts are now under protection of UNESCO!

Finally we have to boast that some of our dear guests have came out in Playboy magazine sharing their experience of staying in Zagreb. Ivana's hobby is journalism and she has been writing for several magazines over the years (Jet set magazine, Elle, Gloss etc.) and from last year she started publishing some articles in Croatian issue of Playboy. You may have a look at this article underneath.

We hope the year 2012 will be treating us all well – health is of course the most important thing we can wish for. But we also wish you a lot of joy, love, inner strenght, peace and enrichment, many great moments and exciting travels. And of course, we are looking forward to seeing you again in Zagreb!
