LOCATION

The apartment City is situated on the first floor of the nice old Zagreb building from the beginning of the 20th century, in the very heart of the city – Petrinjska street. It is only 2 minutes away from the Central Railway Station and 8 minutes stroll from the Central Square of Ban Josip Jelacic.

Wherever you want to go and whatever you plan to do, you are in the centre of events. There are two cafés downstairs, gourmet restaurant Lari and Penati next door, two shops across the road, gym, public garage is 100 meters up the street and two more just around the corner (charged), two shopping malls within 5 minutes walk, multiplex cinema, Central Post Office, Beauty Centre and a nice Chinese restaurant just around the corner. Everything else is within walking distance (fresh food market Dolac, the Upper City, cafés, night clubs and all major Zagreb sights).

THE APARTMENT

This comfy apartment consists of a nice lounge room with a small but functional kitchen and dining area attached, separated bedroom for two, bathroom and laundry. The apartment is air-conditioned, newly furnished and equipped with a double bed, wardrobe, washing machine, drying line, hair dryer, satellite TV, DVD/CD player, internet connection and telephone.

There is a pullout sofa in the living room, which can serve as an extra bed for additional guest or a kid. Kitchen is fully equipped to cook and eat in, with fridge, microwave, gas cooker and toaster. Complimentary food basics like coffee, tea, sugar, salt, cooking oil etc. Laundry facilities include washing machine, clothes detergent, drying line, iron and ironing board. The apartment is overlooking the charming courtyard side so although you’re in the very centre of Zagreb, you have all the peace and quiet for yourself.

Parking: there are three public garages around the apartment building (closest one is only 100 metres up the street). It is also possible to par in the street for maximum one hour (charged) or free of charge after 9 p.m. on working days (till 7 a.m. the next morning), after 3 p.m. on Saturdays and the whole day on Sundays.

GETTING AROUND

BUS

Central Bus Station is only 5 minutes drive from here and the buses that go to the other areas of the city (especially New Zagreb) leave from the Central Railway Station, which is 2 minutes walking distance from the apartment.

TRAM

There are a number of tram stops around the block. You can leave for any part of the city from here.

AIRPORT

The bus to the airport leaves from the Central Bus Station. You may look up the airport shuttle bus timetable at: www.zagreb-airport.hr We provide an extra airport pick-up/drop-off service from/to the airport which is charged extra (20 EUR - 150 kn).

TRAIN

Central Railway Station is 2 minutes walk from the apartment. Trains leave for all major European cities from here and connect other Croatian regions with the Croatian capital.
